Developer – Singapore

Our client is seeking a highly experienced Developer to join their Corporate Tooling team within GMET Shared Platforms. This team is dedicated to process automation, re-engineering, and developing critical solutions to enhance banking efficiency. The successful candidate will be instrumental in gathering requirements, documenting, designing, and implementing solutions, with a strong focus on Python-based full-stack applications.

The role involves implementing and analyzing the impact of Python-based full-stack application instances, researching problems, and designing optimal solutions. Adherence to Change Management and Engineering Review processes is crucial, ensuring all changes align with project and release schedules. The Developer will also ensure that built systems conform to architectural requirements, principles, and the overall solution roadmap.

Key responsibilities include effective communication with internal and external teams regarding technical delivery and system maintenance. The role demands a commitment to technical quality across all project deliveries, utilizing Waterfall/Agile best practices such as Scrum, CI/CD DevOps, and Test Driven Development, while adhering to SDM guidelines. This position requires a strong technical leader with a proven track record in large-scale application development and implementation.
