IT Security Analyst II – Noida

Ficus e Logic on behalf of its client in the ITES Industry is seeking an experienced IT Security Analyst to join their Security Operations Center (SOC) team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in cybersecurity, with a particular focus on incident detection, response, and investigation. This role operates within a fast-paced environment, demanding vigilance in monitoring and protecting the organization's digital assets and infrastructure.

The responsibilities include working rotational shifts, administering and troubleshooting security infrastructure, managing SOC tickets, and responding to and investigating security incidents and alerts. The analyst will take ownership of incidents from reporting to resolution, continuously analyze and improve security systems, and collaborate with internal teams to address vulnerabilities. Key tasks also involve triaging malware incidents, monitoring emerging threats, assisting with Incident Response, and contributing to the development of SOC processes and playbooks.

Candidates should have over 10 years of proven IT security experience, preferably in a SOC setting, with strong knowledge of information security and networking concepts. Hands-on experience with various security technologies such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, EDR tools (e.g., CrowdStrike), SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk), antivirus software, web filtering, VPN, and MFA solutions is essential. The role requires expertise in network analysis tools, triaging software vulnerabilities, and identifying malware-related compromise artifacts. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are crucial, along with a proactive approach to continuous improvement. Preferred certifications include CompTIA Security+, CISA+, CEH, GSEC, SSCP, or CASP+.
