System Engineer CDC – Saitama,Nagoya,Yokohama,Japan

Our department specializes in System development, particularly meter software development. This role offers a highly rewarding opportunity to promote software development through collaboration with Japanese OEMs, internal departments, overseas development teams, and both domestic and international contractors. We are seeking a software engineer to act as the primary point of contact for our Japanese customers regarding System development. This engineer will work closely with our domestic and international development teams to accelerate software development and will also be capable of independent System development.

Key responsibilities include analyzing customer requirements and translating them into technical solutions, designing visible, maintainable, and efficient Systems, and collaborating with product managers, designers, and other engineers throughout the software development lifecycle. The role also involves conducting software design reviews, code reviews, and test reviews, providing feedback to team members, and performing failure test analysis, troubleshooting, and debugging functionalities. The successful candidate will be responsible for log analysis of CAN/SPI/SOMEIP, functional logic verification in HILS test benches, and ensuring software is delivered with zero bugs and no quality issues before mass production. Staying updated on the latest technological trends is also crucial.
