The Chassis-System Architect is a key position responsible for converting customer requirements and market trends into detailed technical specifications for critical vehicle features, including suspension, steering, braking, and vehicle dynamics. This role involves overseeing the development and validation of chassis systems to ensure that innovative designs adhere to performance and safety standards. The architect will also manage a team of system engineers, guiding them in deriving system requirements from these specifications.
Key responsibilities include translating customer needs into technical specifications for various vehicle dynamics features, overseeing the development and validation processes for chassis systems, and managing system engineers to ensure accurate requirement derivation. The ideal candidate will possess experience in automotive embedded systems, requirement elicitation and specification, system architecture design and development, and general system engineering. Experience working with OEMs such as VW, MB, BMW, and Stellantis is highly valued, as is familiarity with ASPICE Sys.1, Sys.2, and Sys.3. The role also requires experience in managing project teams of 50+ individuals and bilingual proficiency in German (B2 and above) and English.
