Automotive Trims - Door Trims Engineer – Japan

For our client in the IT/Engineering consulting, we are seeking an experienced professional in automotive interiors, specifically with expertise in Door Trims. The ideal candidate will possess strong product development knowledge, including concept creation, master sections, vehicle integration, vehicle packaging, and assembly processes. Responsibilities include preparing and delivering presentations of concepts and master sections, collaborating with cross-functional teams on module-level design changes, and managing system engineering and design release activities.

Candidates should have a solid understanding of injection molding and other advanced plastic manufacturing processes, along with knowledge of engineering and system documents such as DFMEA, DVP, DFA, and DFM. Experience with sheet metal is a plus. This role requires a professional who has successfully managed projects for leading Automotive OEMs or Tier-1 suppliers.
