Validation Onsite Coordinator – Japan

Ficus e Logic is seeking a Validation Onsite Coordinator to manage offshore team progress and tracking with customers. The role involves obtaining customer input, reviewing project estimations, and highlighting potential risks. The coordinator will support query discussions, interact with various stakeholders, and collaborate with the offshore team to deliver solutions.

Key responsibilities include providing technical solutions for blockers, supporting automation initiatives, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will be able to conduct meetings and understand customer specifications in Japanese, and possess knowledge of HIL test setup support. This position requires a strong focus on quality, delivery standards, and long-term customer relationships, with an emphasis on maximizing revenue and resolving any issues impacting offshore business and deliveries.

Candidates should have a BS/MS in Systems Engineering, Mechanical, Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or equivalent. Essential skills include offshore member management, software validation, VT system knowledge, and experience in automotive ECU validation. Proficiency in Japanese (speaking and writing) and project management skills are crucial, along with a good understanding of the V-Cycle. Product knowledge should include experience with Japanese car manufacturers and familiarity with BCM, seat positioning, and body comfort features.
